The Croatian Theater in Switzerland (HKŠ) has staged another poetic-musical piece of its own, this time about St. Jerome of Dalmatia, one of the most important individuals born in Croatia, entitled Jerome of Stridon.
As always in its efforts over the last quarter of a century, the Croatian Theater in Switzerland, this time with professional and amateur forces, is performing this musical, in the realization of which about a hundred participants took part. It was also recorded as a television film and can be watched on YouTube, and soon on several domestic television stations. In an attractive and even entertaining way, you can learn more about lesser-known interesting facts from the life of St. Jerome, and become richer with values we so much need for a satisfied and successful everyday life and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Frane Vugdelija as Jerome, Jure Šimić as Jerome’s father Euzebije, Mirela Prokeš as Jerome’s mother, Štefo Babić as Jerome’s biographer, Nikola Janjić and Marko Bulj as bishops, Slavko Tadić as Jerome’s colleague during his studies, Marija Stanković and Ana Župarić as nuns, Sara Vrljić as a secretary, Jelena Župarić as a journalist and three masquerade-goers: Luka Stanković, Ivica Šimić and Dominik Babić.
The set designers are Marija Golemac and Domagoj Marić, the music producer is Ivo Andrijašević, the cameraman and editor is Matijas Knežević, the text and music author is Šimun Šito Ćorić, and the director is Boris Katich.
