Croatian Heritage Foundation Launches Digital Library

The first digital volume, The Proceedings of the Round Table on Mate Meršić Miloradić, incorporates lectures from a round table event organised by the Croatian Writers’ Association and the CHF following on academician Nikola Benčić’s Miloradić – The Life, Work and Affairs of Mate Meršić Miloradić 1850–1928, staged on the 25th of April of this year.

The Croatian Heritage Foundation, as part of our efforts to stay abreast of the latest technologies and to raise awareness of Croatian diaspora and minority communities abroad among the broadest possible readership, has launched its own digital library. The Croatian Heritage Foundation digital library will feature books and other publications in digital format related to the diaspora and our minority communities, available to readers around the world.

Also included in the library will be Croatian Heritage Foundation Papers, featuring lectures from symposia and presentations at the CHF.

The Croatian Heritage Foundation is proud to present the first such digital volume, The Proceedings of the Round Table on Mate Meršić Miloradić. This paper incorporates lectures by top experts in the field of the culture of the Gradišće Croat community from a round table event organised by the Croatian Writers’ Association and the Croatian Heritage Foundation on the occasion of the publication of academician Nikola Benčić’s Miloradić – The Life, Work and Affairs of Mate Meršić Miloradić 1850–1928, staged on the 25th of April of this year.

The paper includes lectures delivered by Croatian Writers’ Association president Đuro Vidmarović, professor emeritus Alojz Jembrih of the University of Zagreb’s Centre for Croatian Studies, associate professor Sanja Vulić and Nikola Benčić. Also included in this paper is a transcript of the open discussion.
