The priest Dragan Filipović and Ms Ágnes Prodán were presented the Order of the Croatian Interlace. Charters of the Republic of Croatia were presented to the Days of Croatian Film in Orašje, the Croatian department at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Pécs’s Faculty of Humanities, the Croatian National Council of Montenegro, the Croatian Civic Society of Montenegro-Kotor, Radio Dux, and the Veseli Gradišćanci Croatian Culture Society.
Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović has decorated a number of individuals, associations and institutions whose work contributes to preserving our culture and identity and to the development and good standing of Croatia.
“Today we are the heart of Europe, Croatia today presides over the Council of the European Union and boasts a European culture capital. Let us be proud of our achievements like your families and friends today are proud of the decorations and awards that are a sign of respect for what you have accomplished, and a motivation to young people for further progress,” said President Grabar-Kitarović, thanking the members of the national commission responsible for proposing decorations and awards for their work as volunteers and everyone else whose work contributed to the good standing and success of Croatia.

The maestro Don Dragan Filipović, recipient of the Order of the Croatian Interlace for outstanding contribution to music culture, composition, music and pedagogical work, and cultural cooperation between the Croatian people of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
Ágnes Prodán, recipient of the Order of the Croatian Interlace for extraordinary contribution to the development of comparative literature, the theory and practice of translating, and the study of Croatian-Hungarian literary and cultural ties.
The Days of Croatian Film in Orašje were presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution to the presentation of Croatian national film production in memory of Ivo Gregurević, founder of the film festival and one of the leading lights among recent Croatian dramatic artists.
The Croatian National Council of Montenegro was presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution and service to preserving and promoting the interests of the Croatian minority in Montenegro and to protecting and preserving the heritage of the Croats of Boka Kotorska.
The Croatian Civic Society of Montenegro-Kotor was presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution and service to the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Croats, the promotion of the interests of the Croatian minority and the development and strengthening of friendly relations between Croatia and Montenegro.
Radio Dux was presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution and service to the preservation of the national identity, the cultural and special linguistic features of the Croatian minority in Boka Kotorska and Montenegro.
The Croatian department at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Pécs’s Faculty of Humanities was presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution and service to the development and promotion of the Croatian language and literature among the Croatians of Hungary and the strengthening of cultural and friendly ties between Croatia and Hungary.
The Veseli Gradišćanci Croatian Culture Society was presented a Charter of the Republic of Croatia for extraordinary contribution and service to the preservation of the Croatian tradition and culture, and the revival of the national customs of the Gradišće Croats of Hungary.
