We invite you to the Eco Heritage Task Force 2026 program, organized by the Croatian Heritage Foundation, in cooperation with the Lika-Senj County, which will be held from August 3, 2026 (arrival) to August 16, 2026 (departure).
The Eco Heritage Task Force is a program gathering young people of Croatian descent from around the world to engage in voluntary work on the environmental restoration and preservation of Croatian natural cultural heritage in local communities.
PROGRAM: Program participants will take part in environmental activities to clean up and landscape the space and surroundings of Gospić Vocational School (Strukovna škola Gospić), to clean up and landscape the space and surroundings of the Gospić Vocational School Dormitory, to clean up and landscape the space and surroundings of the Lika-Senj County Nursing Home, and to clean up the Novčica River under the guidance of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service. In addition, workshops and other activities will be organized so that participants learn more about the natural and cultural heritage and tradition of this area – a Croatian language and culture workshop, a culinary workshop and excursions in the Lika-Senj County.
ACCOMMODATION: Program participants will be lodged in the Gospić Vocational School Dormitory. Room and board are covered by the organizers.
NOTE:
– Persons aged from 18 to 35 can apply.
– The number of participants is limited
– Program participants themselves organize and cover their own travel costs to Gospić and, at the end of the program, from Gospić.
– Due to the physical nature of the program, it is suggested that all participants have travel insurance.
