The January and February double issue features articles the results of the last census, the 20th anniversary of Operation Maslenica, the induction of klapa singing into the UNESCO world heritage list, the demolition of a historical Croatian church in Pittsburgh and much, much more.
The January and February winter double issue of Matica magazine was released in mid February, as usually featuring many fascinating articles from the homeland and around the world.
The cover photo features a young woman wearing the folk costume of the Livno region from the article on the traditional jewellery of the Croatians of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The exhibition was recently staged at the premises of the Croatian Heritage Foundation. In the latest issue of Matica magazine you can also read about the results of the last census, the 20th anniversary of Operation Maslenica, the induction of klapa singing into the UNESCO world heritage list, the demolition of a historical Croatian church in Pittsburgh and much, much more.
