The Croatian House Vienna is a two thousand square metre facility featuring two auditoriums, offices and multifunctional areas located in an excellent and peaceful site in Vienna’s 23rd district. The Croatian House Vienna is a two thousand square metre facility featuring two auditoriums, office space and multifunctional areas located in an excellent and peaceful site in Vienna’s 23rd district. At the first congress of ethnic Croatian association in Austria, held on the 6th of December of last year, Andrej Lucić, the president of the Croatian House Vienna (https://hrvatskidom.com/) told a gathering of over two thousand at the Austria Vienna Centre that the objective was to achieve this major project by the end of the coming year—a project that has been the dream of generations of ethnic Croatians in Austria, especially after Croatian regained its independence in the 1990s.
Following an intensive search and many meetings the objective has been achieved ahead of Christmas and the year’s end. The new two thousand square metre Croatian House Vienna boasts two auditoriums, offices, multifunctional areas and is set in a wonderful and pleasant location in Vienna’s 23rd district.
Landscaping work, the renovation of the exteriors and other works are now ongoing, and the first meeting held at the centre was on the 17th of September gathering interested representatives of ethnic Croatian associations in Austria on the topic of challenges to work in the face of the current pandemic coronavirus fears.
