A delegation of the CHF followed a visit to the Croatian House in Ljubljana with a guest appearance on the Little Border Crossing show on Radio Študent. They also showcased the March issue of our Matica magazine at the Marjan Jarc Library in Novo Mesto.
A delegation of the Croatian Heritage Foundation made up of Matica magazine chief editor Ljerka Galic, the head of our publishing department Vesna Kukavica, and photographer Darko Plahtan followed a visit to the Croatian House in Ljubljana, the capital city of neighbouring Slovenia, with a guest appearance on the Little Border Crossing show on Radio Študent. They also showcased the March issue of our Matica magazine at the Marjan Jarc Library in Novo Mesto.
The March issue of the Croatian Heritage Foundation’s monthly magazine focused on Lošinj island, and the president of the local tourism board Dalibor Cvitković was also actively involved in showcasing this joint project. Also on hand at the packed auditorium were honorary Croatian consul Božo Dimnik, the team of Radio Študent in Ljubljana, representatives of Croatian associations in novo Mesto and Ljubljana, and the chief event organiser, businessman Zlatko Katalenić.
Konavle municipality head Božo Lasić informed the gathered of a worthy initiative to found a diaspora museum in Dubrovačko Primorje, a development Matica magazine will follow closely.
