The one-day meeting will bring together Croats from Bosnia and Herzegovina and their descendants from the diaspora, as well as representatives of the local professional and business community, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, creating new business opportunities and initiating concrete forms of cooperation.
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, the First Meeting of the Network of Croatians from Bosnia and Herzegovina – The Power of Networking, a unique event intended to connect Croats from BiH and their descendants living abroad with representatives of the local professional, entrepreneurial and social community, will be held at the Hotel Bigeste in Ljubuški.
The Meeting is designed as a platform for active networking, exchange of experience and knowledge and presentation of professional, business and investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Particular emphasis will be placed on creating long-term links between emigrants and local communities, as well as encouraging initiatives that can contribute to the economic and social development of the regions from which participants originate.
Meeting Programme
The organizer of the meeting is the Udruga povratnika (Association of Returnees) from Tomislavgrad, and the sponsor is the Government of West Herzegovina Canton. The co-organizers are the Institute for Migration Research,the Croatian Heritage Foundation,the City of Ljubuški,the City of Široki Brijeg,the municipalities of Posušje, Grude, Čitluk and Neum,thecities of Čapljina and Mostar, the Institute for Education, the association “Domovinska i iseljenička zajednica” andthe association “Mladi za domovinu”.
