The Croatian Heritage Foundation played host on Friday, the 26th of April, to a group of students studying international business relations at the university in Željezno (Eisenstadt) in Austria. The group was led by Ivan Rončević MSc of the University of Vienna’s Institute of Slavic Studies. The students have just come off three-month student traineeships at companies and institutions in Croatia.

CHF staff led by Snježana Jurišić, the head of our culture department, informed the students about the programmes and activities of the Croatian Heritage Foundation. The students were very much interested in the CHF slate of programmes and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation with the CHF but did also note that there was still much room for development, both with the Croatian ethnic enclave in Gradišće (Burgenland) and with other ethnic Croatians living and working in Austria, of which there is an ever-growing number.
