Members of the church choir of Sveti Vlaho parish in the town of Ston, led by sister Nives Letica and parish priest Don Vojo Vlašić, paid a return visit on the first Sunday of Advent to the choir of Sveti Matej parish in Dobrota, Boka Kotorska. The visit was organised by the Dubrovnik branch office of the Croatian Heritage Foundation with the support of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County administrative department for education, culture and sports.

A mass at Sveti Matej (St Matthew’s) church in Dobrota was led by Sveti Vlaho (St Blaise) parish priest Don Vojo Vlašić of Ston, joined in concelebration by Dobrota parish priest Don Ante Dragobratović.

After mass the two choirs enjoyed the stunning setting of the Bay of Croatian Saints, with the visitors from Ston afforded an opportunity to tour the ancient town of Kotor, visit Sveti Tripun (St Tryphon) cathedral in Kotor, the maritime museum and the many churches in the old town core. They also visited Perast, and the isle of Our Lady of Škrpjela, where their host Don Srećko Majić gave an inspired talk about the history of Perast, the neighbouring settlements in Boka Kotorska Bay and the rich history of Croatians in Boka.
