The thirty-first round in the Croatica Abroad series of panel discussions was staged at the National and University Library on the 6th of February of this year, featuring guest speaker Marin Knezović, a historian and the head of the Croatian Heritage Foundation minorities department. The first part of the discussion focused on the academic work of Marin Knezović, his term as director of the Croatian Heritage Foundation, his current post as head of the CHF Croatian minorities abroad department, a project that aims to see digital editions of Croatian Heritage Foundation publications, and Ante Tresić Pavičić’s book Across the Atlantic to the Pacific, which details the lives of Croatians that moved to the United States of America. This book has seen a digital edition under the auspices of the CHF with additional content providing background to archaic terms and the societal situation of the time, including photography and film recordings from the period in which Tresić Pavičić penned his book. The second half of the panel discussion focused on Mr Knezović’s interest in history, eco-historical topics, Web design and other domains.
