The five-day workshop was led by academy educated film director Ivan Mokrović, and a film created by the participants was screened at the close of the festival.
The Croatian Heritage Foundation and the Orašje Culture Centre jointly staged a film workshop on the occasion of the 25th film festival in Orašje, now the Ivo Gregurević Days of Croatian Film. This traditional gathering of filmmakers, film enthusiasts and those who are taking their first steps in the cinematic world through this prestigious festival encouraged us to help pass on knowledge to young people, enabling them through this workshop to comprehend the full process of filmmaking: from the idea, the preparation of screenplay and screenwriting, shooting film and editing, production and distribution.
The five-day workshop was led by academy educated film director Ivan Mokrović, and a film created by the participants was screened at the close of the festival. We wish to thank the director of the culture centre in Orašje Mandica Živković, her associates, and all the participants of the workshop for their excellent energy and the wonderful story told through the Creating Film in Orašje workshop. We hope to see them all again next year.
