New opportunities open for cooperation on the preservation of Croatian identity and heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Director of the Croatian Heritage Foundation Zdeslav Milas, M.Sc., met up on an official visit with Dr. Dragan Čović, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and leader of the Croatian people in BiH, as well as with Darijana Filipović, member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
During the meeting, previous cooperation on several programs conducted by the CHF in BiH and areas where they can further strengthen their joint efforts were discussed.
In an extremely constructive discussion, educational, cultural and demographic policies were highlighted as the fundamental goals of their efforts, however, new topics were also opened on the possibilities of stronger cooperation to preserve the identity of Croats in BiH.
On this occasion, Dragan Čović wished Director Milas plenty of success in his work and became acquainted with the employees of the Croatian Heritage Foundation.
For years, Matica has been regularly conducting programs and working to preserve the identity and heritage of Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, and in the near future, new cooperation and activities are planned with the support of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad.
