Archbishop D’Errico noted that this meeting was very important in light of the upcoming joint session of the Bishop’s Conferences of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, to be held in Zagreb on 21 January.

 

 

The Apostolic Nuncio in the Republic of Croatia, Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico, met on 9 January with the head of the State Office for Croatians Abroad Darija Krstičević. Ms Krstičević presented the projects, plans and strategies of this Office and informed the Nuncio of the distribution of funds the Republic of Croatia provides for Croatians living abroad, in particular the Croatians of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The meeting was held at the premises of the State Office in a very cordial atmosphere. The Apostolic Nuncio expressed his gratitude for the information provided and noted that, as is known, the Holy See regards the survival of Croatians in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro as a priority issue.
