The title of Miss Croatian Folk Costume in the Croatian communities abroad went to Nikoleta Mariana Vlasić from Romania. The first runner-up was Franka Ivković from Switzerland, followed by second runner-up Klaudija Baturić from New Zealand.
The Stećak Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Croatian Traditional Culture in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Croatian Heritage Foundation joined forces to organise the 2nd traditional folk costume review and Miss Croatian Folk Costume Pageant for Croatians abroad in Tomislavgrad.
The event was staged under the patronage of Member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Dragan Čović, the Croatian State Office For Croats Abroad, the Government of Hercegbosna County and the Municipality of Tomislavgrad.
Of the thirty-one young women from twenty-one countries participating in the event the title of Miss Croatian Folk Costume in the Croatian communities abroad went to Nikoleta Mariana Vlasić from Romania – she was presented with the title and replicas of a Čapljina necklace and earrings from Mandino Selo by Member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Dragan Čović.
The first runner-up title went to Franka Ivković from Switzerland. She was presented with a replica of traditional jewellery from Sasina near Sanski Most by the first deputy of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia-Herzegovina Borjana Krišto.
The jury’s selection for second runner-up was Klaudija Baturić from New Zealand. She was presented with a replica of a traditional bracelet and earrings from Herzegovina by Darija Krstičević, the head of the Croatian State Office For Croats Abroad.
Winning the Internet vote for Miss Photogenic was Mirjana Jakšić from Hungary. A replica of earrings from the Livno region was presented to her by the mayor of the Municipality of Tomislavgrad Ivan Vukadin
