Rešetari was once again the venue for this annual pilgrimage of poets from across Croatia and around the world, this time under the high patronage of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
This weekend Rešetari was once again the venue for a gathering of poets from across Croatia and around the world. The fact that this gathering of poets drew participants from across Our Beautiful Homeland, neighbouring countries and from Canada, Germany, Sweden and Macedonia, which has been the practice in previous years, speaks volumes of the significance of this exceptional event.
The poetry published in a miscellany also speaks to the distinct importance of this event, held under the auspices of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, who recognised the relevance of the gathering and the great effort invested by the organisers.
Municipal mayor Zlatko Aga spoke warmly of the achievement of the Rešetari Culture & Visual Arts Society and in particular of Ivan De Villa, without whom this association would not achieve these excellent results. Speaking with the poets gathered at the event we learned that they delight in the annual pilgrimage to Rešetari where they now feel right at home.
