Maja Mozara, head of the Dubrovnik branch office of the Croatian Heritage Foundation, moderated the book promo. Excerpts from the book and the poems of Marijana Dokoza were read by Sebastijan Vukosavić.

Marijana Dokoza, writer, journalist and chief editor of Fenix magazine (fenix-magazin.com), presented her novel Naranyjin plač (Naranyjin Weeping) at the Dubrovnik branch office of the Croatian Heritage Foundation April 15th. The novel describes the hijacking of a child as told through the lives of two women that do not know each other, even though they are blood relations.
“The book may be released in an English version soon, and will be available in electronic form within the month,” Dokoza announced at the presentation. She has another two novels and a collection of poetry ready for publishing.
It was also an opportunity to present the bilingual Fenix magazine, edited by Dokoza, published monthly in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Along with her Web portal she has also announced an upcoming tri-monthly magazine edition of Fenix that will feature articles on people in Croatia and the emigrant communities.
