The monograph Moj Nenadić (My Nenadić) was promoted at the library of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts on the 23rd of April as part of the Book Night event.

This monograph describes the settlement of Nenadić near Sombor (in the Vojvodina region of modern Serbia). Nenadić is a salaš (farmstead) type village typical of the region. The book was promoted by academician Frane Parać, vice president of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, academician Dragutin Feletar, Vladimir Nazor Croatian Culture and Arts Society of Sombor president Mata Matarić, Sombor mayor Dušanka Golubović, Mario Bara PhD, Croatian Writers’ Association president Đuro Vidmarović, Stjepan Sučić and Carmelite friar Mato Miloš.

The monograph Moj Nenadić depicts a lost, or perhaps still disappearing way of life in this settlement of ethnic Croatians in the north of the Bačka region. What is special about this tome is that its authors are, for the most part, not experts, but rather people whose roots are in Nenadić or have some emotional attachment to it. The result of their many years of systematic work is this book, which will preserve a memory of this place and a dying way of life for future generations.

The youth folklore section of the Vladimir Nazor Croatian Culture and Arts Society performed as part of the event.
