The new CHF director earned degrees at Sarajevo’s teacher education academy in classroom curriculum and from the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Philosophy in pedagogy and psychology. He received training in gestalt therapy from the Institut fur Integrative Gestalttherapie in Germany’s Wurzburg and has undertaken education in psychodrama and other areas. He holds a European psychotherapy certificate (ECP) and a European certificate in gestalt therapy (EAGT)
Croatian Government has announced that Mirjana Ana-Marija Piskulić is to step down as acting CHF director and that it has appointed Mijo Marić the new director of the Croatian Heritage Foundation.
The new CHF director was born in Brčko in 1954. He earned degrees at Sarajevo’s teacher education academy in classroom curriculum and from the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Philosophy in pedagogy and psychology. He received training in gestalt therapy from the Institut fur Integrative Gestalttherapie in Germany’s Wurzburg and has undertaken education in psychodrama and other areas. He holds a European psychotherapy certificate (ECP) and a European certificate in gestalt therapy (EAGT).
He has worked in schools as a teacher, pedagogue, school psychologist and principal and in the professional orientation and selection of school staff. He worked in city hall as the head of the analytics study department and has worked as an interim advisor to the defence minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina. He has also worked as an educator, advisor, as head of the SOS House for Youth and as an advisor in a Waldorf school. He is the director of the Prsten Foundation, which provides scholarships.
Following on the proposal from Croatian Government the CHF board of directors on the 21st of June dismissed acting director Mirjana Ana-Marija Piskulić. The new director is to assume his duties on the 18th of July.
