The competition is organised in four regional groups, with group winners going on to compete in the final tournament.

The winner of the Swiss Croatian Cup qualifies to participate in the European Championship of Croatian Diaspora Clubs in Zagreb. All teams are required to play their group rounds by the close of 2020 and are responsible for the organisation of the group round of the competition.
