The Union of Croatians in Romania and the Croatian Heritage Foundation will organise the fourth Croatian Minority Youth Forum from the 25th to 27th of September. The community in Carașova, an ethnic Croatian enclave in the Romanian portion of the Banate, will host this year’s event.

This year’s forum will focus on Heritage for the Future? – Traditional Culture Between Youth in the Croatian Minority Communities. The discussion will include issues such as the role of the traditional culture of minority communities in the lives of young people, different perceptions of traditional culture, organised forms of engagement in traditional culture and related questions.

Accompanying the youth forum event will be the Toys at Heart exhibition and workshops for children on the topic of cultural heritage organised by the Croatian Heritage Foundation’s department for education, science and sports.
