CHF Director Participates in Identity and Croatian Culture Panel

Speaking at the panel CHF director Marić pointed to the seventy years of experience the CHF has in this area and noted that language was an integrative means of preserving identity, and identified the learning and study of Croatian as important factors in preserving awareness of one’s origins.

CHF Croatian Minorities Forum Focuses on History and Identity

The forum pooled over thirty participants from seven countries lecturing on identity and its historical roots in the Croatian minority enclaves and broader communities. The opening lecture was given by Stjepan Blažetin of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Pécs in neighbouring Hungary.
