A reception was given to honour the recipients of the awards and the organisers, accompanied by a documentary exhibition of CHF projects. The guests were welcomed by Mirjana Piskulić and CHF director Marin Knezović. Also on hand was Nives Antoljak, a member of the Croatian Women’s Network award jury on behalf of the CHF.
Karen Oremuš is currently resident in the United Arab Emirates where she teaches painting, drawing and printmaking at Zayed University. Oremuš, a recipient of the Croatian Women of Influence Award, was supported at the exhibition by participants of a conference held in Zagreb by the Croatian Women’s Network of Toronto.
Hinzmann is looking forward to reading from her latest crime novel Der Duft des Oleanders (The Scent of Oleanders, Wieser Verlag, 2015) in Leipzig on the 17th of March at this prestigious German book fair.
