Emil Bobanović Čolić exhibition in Dubrovnik

A monograph by this respected Croatian painter living in Italy was presented at the premises of the Dubrovnik branch office of the CHF. On hand to present the work was the author, joined by academician Tonko Maroević and art historian Marin Ivanović. An exhibition of his paintings from the Spirit of Childhood series was also opened on the occasion.

En la Fundación para la Emigración Croata (FEC) se inauguró, el jueves 20 de septiembre de 2012, la exposición de cuadros de Monika Trimmel Roženić, croata de Gradišće.
Durante el evento hablaron, además de la autora, Marin Knezović, Director de la FEC, y Stipe Milkotić, párroco de Mali Borištof (Gradišće, Austria), quien dijo unas palabras sobre la artista, y Georg Christian Laka, Director del Foro Cultural Austríaco y delegado de la Embajada de la República de Austria en Zagreb, quien saludó a los presentes e inauguró esta emotiva exposición.

Monika Trimmel Roženić exhibition opens

An exhibition of paintings by Gradišće Croat Monika Trimmel Roženić opened at the Croatian Heritage Foundation (CHF) this Thursday, 20 September 2012.
Speaking at the opening along with the artist were CHF director Marin Knezović and Stipe Mlikotić, the parish priest in Mali Borištof/Kleinwarasdorf (Gradišće/Burgenland, Austria) who spoke about the artist. Also on hand was Georg Christian Lak, director of the Austrian Culture Forum and the envoy of the Austrian Embassy in Zagreb who greeted the gathered and declared this impressive exhibition open.

Teacher Zlata Radaković passes away

The Croatian community and Croatian language school in Sydney have lost a long-time dedicated member who for over thirty years worked as a Croatian language teacher—first with the youngest attendees of the Croatian ethnic schools and then with secondary school children at Saturday supplementary schools.

CHF director receives CWC delegation

Director Marin Knezović had a constructive one-hour meeting with the CWC representatives that touched upon future CWC projects and collaboration with the CHF. Our director expressed his interest in CWC projects, in particular the Croatian World Games, and offered his cooperation in future projects.
