President Decorates Soljačić in Boston

The president visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she presented a national decoration to well known Croatian-American researcher Marin Soljačić.

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović arrived in Boston on Sunday the 3rd of November to kick off her visit to the United States of America, reports state radio and television broadcaster HRT.
Upon arriving in Boston she met with members of the New England Friends of Croatia, a club founded twenty-five years ago gathering Croatians and friends of Croatia in this American city.
The president also visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she presented a national decoration to well known Croatian-American researcher Marin Soljačić.
Monday was set aside for meetings with members of the academic community and the top people at the leading universities in the State of Massachusetts, including a lecture on Croatian foreign policy President Grabar-Kitarović gave at Tufts University.
On Tuesday the 5th of November Grabar Kitarović met in New York with the secretary general of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, and on Wednesday spoke before the Security Council on the work of the international tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. (https://www.jutarnji.hr/)
